The iphone often heats up and since this cradle is connected in front of the vent it should cool off the phone. However the teeth from the two clips are very sharp and scratches the rubberized vent film. Now I'm not using the clips anymore and instead got a suction mount.The quality however is good. It holds the phone firmly and is easy to adjust. But the casing for the phone must be removed before the phone can be installed.
