I have twice updated the review, once after two months of use and again after six total months of use. I have moved the review from 3 down to 2 stars, and finally to 1. This is a good news/bad news review.First the goods: + This is by far the most powerful FM transmitter and iPhone charger on the market. I know this is anecdotal, but I have driven in San Diego, Seattle, and in the boonies with this unit, the Belkin and the Griffen. Both San Diego and Seattle are very dense signal environments. I also have a conformal FM antenna (meaning it is embedded into the glass) which hampers some of the reception. Given those, the PDO powered through and I never heard a blip or squelch of static or interference while using the unit. Most of these units work fine in speaker phone mode as long as you hook up the 3.5 mm headphone jack. + The arm is... I've used it in urban areas and always been able to find a frequency that would let me continue listening with a minimum of static or interference. The cradle is reasonably stable. It's not rock solid, but I don't have any worries about it. The cradle is adjustable, and I've tested it with the phone in a pretty large case (an OtterBox Defender) and it held it equally well. The ability to put the cradle in either portrait or landscape mode hasn't been a big deal for me, but it might be for others. Cons: You have to use a cable in the headphone jack to hear anything, either music or the output from the phone. While this gives you a hands-free phone, it's a bit of a pain in the rear.
