Product Description

Complete replacement kit to bond your rearview mirror to your windshield. Kit includes one disposable single-use tube of silicone adhesive, two plastic universal wedge-mount mounting brackets (buttons), and instructions with safety information. Mounting pieces work with most wedge-mount rearview mirrors both domestic and imported. Wedge mount mirrors are generally standard on vehicles manufactured in the United States, regardless of vehicle make. However, there can be exceptions. Tip: Wedge-style mirrors must be removed by loosening a small screw or clip and pushing the mirror up toward the roof of the vehicle. Bracket and adhesive must set for 18 hours before attaching the mirror. Perfect for the application of standard rearview mirrors. Not recommended for Rearview mirrors weighing 1.5 pounds or more.

This review is from: CIPA 49088 Rear-View Mounting Kit (Automotive) I purchased the cipa 49088 rear-view mounting kit I can't believe it didn't work it took 2 tries and the mirror kept falling off and yes I followed the directions to a tee. After the 2nd time I had to call a glass dealer to have them mount my mirror onto my window. After paying you guys $6. bucks I had to pay the glass company $14.00 more. So I would suggest don't sell it suggest to the people that buy mirrors to have a glass business mount them. Mirror will break off if bumped, ruining the plate and leaving a useless plate stuck to the windshield.
