He said it could be because his HTC Thunderbold may be a bit heavier than other phones. This thing is beyond flimsy and is ALL plastic (the flexible neck is strong but it doesn't matter because the locking device at the base is plastic and weak). So, a normal smartphone weight eventually sags on the flexible neck and the entire phone starts swinging around and the locking device does no good at the base of the neck as it becomes so weakened, the whole point of this device becomes worthless.I do like the extra USB port for charging and for my HTC Incredible 2 it does fine charging with the USB tip included. I would not buy this device again nor anything from Naztech and everything out there looks the same and is all made of junk plastic. I would pay $35-50 for something made with metal threads and has more girth to take the weight of the device it is actually made for...what a concept! Don't know for sure yet why supplied cable won't work. |
